🎯 Who Can Audition?

If you play a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument, or piano, harp, or string bass, and enjoy performing at a high level, we invite you to audition for the Stanford Wind Symphony!

We welcome: 
• New Stanford students (undergraduates and graduates) 
• Returning ensemble members 
• Graduate students, post-docs, and community musicians. 

🎼 What to Prepare

• A solo piece (3–5 minutes) from your instrument’s standard repertoire (e.g., a movement from a sonata or concerto, or a technical étude)
• Sight-reading: You will also be asked to sight-read an excerpt from wind ensemble literature.

📍 Location

All auditions will be held at: Braun Music Center, Room 222A, Stanford University
